How to Check Before Starting the Elang Oil Free Water Lubrication Screw Air Compressor in Cold Winter
Elang water lubrication oil free screw air compressor is widely used in the production and manufacturing of machinery, electronics, ceramics, mining, textile, chemical industry, food and other industries and the oil free rotary screw air compressor provides 100% oil free high quality compressed air for those industries.
When the ambient temperature is near 0 ℃ in winter, the lubricating water in the oil free water lubrication rotary screw air compressor will freeze. When starting up the oil free screw air compressor in the morning, the temperature will rise instantaneously or oil free screw compressor will shut down over temperature. In serious cases, the screw air end of oil free air compressor may be stuck due to water shortage. Therefore it is important to keep the ambient temperature of the oil free air compressor room above 0 ℃.
Before starting our Elang oil free water lubrication rotatry screw air compressor in cold winter, please check below information:
1. Open the drain valve below the water gas tank of oil free screw air compressor and see if there is water drain out. Because if the water is freezes, there will be no water drain out.
2. Check the water level in the “Running Parameter” on the PLC of the oil free rotary screw air compressor, make sure the water level in MIDDLE LEVEL or HIGH LEVEL.
You can also check the water level in the oil free screw air compressor by the checking the water level indicator, the floating ball shall be on the top of water level indicator of oil free screw compressor when the compressor is not running.
3.When starting the oil free screw air compressor, please start the compressor for 3 to 5 seconds then emergency stop the compressor, by repeatedly 2 to 3times of this operation to ensure the lubricating water starts cycling to avoid high temperature.
4.If the oil free screw air compressor no need to use today, please drain out the water in the air tank and in the pipeline system to avoid the valve and pipeline may be frozen and cracked and reduce the unnecessary losses.
5.If the oil free rotary screw air compressor needs to be stopped for a period of time, be sure to drain the lubricating water in the water gas tank and radiator. When starting the compressor, please check also if the water is frozen and added the lubricating water to the right water level.
