
How to Ventilate the Air Compressor Room?
When the air compressor is running, it will generate a lot of heat. Usually, this heat needs to be discharged to the outside to avoid the air pressure room temperature is too high, exceeding the specified normal industrial environment temperature, that is, the maximum temperature is not higher than 40 ° C, keep The normal ambient temperature of the air compressor room has the following methods:
1. If the power of the unit is not large and the equipment room is relatively spacious, consider installing an exhaust fan directly at the height of the machine room wall and directly discharging the hot air in the equipment room to the outside.
2. If the power of the unit is large, the hot air can be taken out to the outside by the air duct. The cross section of the air duct should be the same as the air vent of the air compressor itself, and the entire air passage cannot be contracted from head to tail. , to ensure the proper curvature.
3. If the length of the air duct exceeds 5m, or the temperature of the air compressor room after the air duct is still too high, it is necessary to install an exhaust fan at the outlet of the air duct to enhance the air compressor ventilation. The exhaust air volume of the selected fan can be as follows. Equation a) or b) is calculated:
a) Ventilation of air-cooled air compressor: Qv =0.92 N/dT m3/s
b) Ventilation of water-cooled air compressor: Qv = 0.1N/dT m3/s
Remarks: In the above two formulas: Qv = required ventilation for the unit m3/s N = shaft power of the compressor in KW dT = temperature rise of the air compressor room, generally 8 °C
